The Donic Bluefire JP 02 - The golden mean?
The Donic Bluefire JP 02 indeed forms the golden mean within this rubber series. Equipped with the perfect compromise between speed, spin, and control, it is ideally suited for the controlled offense / or the active allrounder (gaming styles: OFF- / ALL+). Like all rubbers within the “Bluefire” series, also this model is equipped with the dynamic, blue, and slightly finer-pored sponge that gives its name.
With a sponge hardness of 45°, the sponge of this rubber is a little softer than that of the JP01 (47.5°), and a little harder than that of the JP03 (42.5°). So we can clearly say that this rubber is the golden mean, both in terms of sponge hardness and playing characteristics (control: 7/ speed: 10/ spin: 10++, manufacturer specifications).
This Donic rubber is characterized by an excellent feeling and a balanced combination of speed, spin, and control. It is important to note that the rubber also enables fast-paced and rotation-rich topspins, while at the same time having a high fault tolerance ("forgives" errors).
This makes the Bluefire JP02 suitable for all power allround (ALL+) and "slightly tamer" offensive (OFF-) players who don't want to go through the wall with their head, but still want to be able to play a harder attack when the going gets tough.
